    Depends what you mean by meditation.
    I meditate on plans, ideas and emotions.
    Meditation to my understanding is exploration via thought.

    Meditation to some others means clearing out all thought.

    It’s a mental process, and since our brain is a part of reality, it is going to have some effect on us.

    Meditation has given me new ideas and has solved problems for me. It’s even given me courage to do things I would have never done before. (emotional meditation)
    I’m agnostic.

    I’m not sure of the experiences that other people have with meditation. I’m not sure what their goal is. But since meditation is a physical process on some level It’s bound to have an effect to some level, and more than likely someone meditates for that effect.

    So yes, it does work. It’s functionality is limited by our brain mass though.

    What exactly is meant by “meditation”, and what exactly does it mean for it to “work”?

    I suppose it works in the sense that homeopathic water elicits the placebo effect?

    it makes you chill. i like meditation cause i usually fall asleep
