  1. Patricia Tate says:

Should women be treated differently than men? Treated by whom is part of this question. Women are the bearers of the future and as such need to be protected at certain times. I certainly would not want my husband to treat me as he treats other men. In the workplace, both should have equal opportunity and compensation but all individuals have unique personalities and needs that should be taken into consideration. I had my children during a time when it was thought that differences were imposed by society yet I watched my children drift toward stereotypical toys and activities with no encouragement from us and with all opportunities presented. I guess my answer is that all human beings should be treated differently because we are all different but that laws and workplace rules should be the same.

Funny you should ask – seemed like men dominated your film! The fact that women were so underrepresented made your film seem terribly unbalanced for me.

  3. [...] Should a person have sex before marriage? Is masturbation a sin? What determines sexual orientation? Why is God interested in our sexual behavior? Should women be treated differently than men? [...]

  4. Robert says:

You’ll simply have to be more specific.

There are significant differences between males and females, and the most important one is of course the fact that new humans come only out of the bodies of females. Because language and thought are capacious, one can conceivably build a set of hypothetical conditions to support practically any viewpoint for or against differing treatment based on gender (or anything else), so this question is just too vague.

However, in the largest sense: of course not.

  5. Jeff says:

Women have proven more than worthy of equal treatment in the short time they’ve had it in our long history.

  6. Richard says:

Only in respect to the fact that they are female and not male. In respect to those particular facts of femininity. Not in respect to equality before the law.

  7. Federico Pizarro says:

why the hell should they in anything that isn’t about birth or strength and stuff. we’re all the same
