  1. Jackson says:

The real question you should be asking, is whether “White is right?”.

  2. Leslie says:

NO religion is right! Religions only create more divisions between people.

@Jackson unfortunately history has demonstrated that White is might . . . so no White is not right, just ask Native Americans, Hispanics, Blacks, Muslims . . . the list of used and abused groups is long.

  3. Joan says:

At the core, the very tiny minute center of all religions, is the Truth. And it is the same for all religions. It is the man-made trappings and dogma that have obfuscated the true nature of spirit of most religions.

  5. a.h. says:

Well from what I’ve seen, most religions pray or look up to some kind of god to guide them. They neglect the fact that in reality, everything we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste is an illusion. Everything you experience is actually being experienced in a tiny part in the back of your brain. All that is REALLY here is energy. Particles, vibrating constantly. So the brain we have creates an illusion so we can make sense out of it. But if you looked at your brain, that would also be an illusion. So the truth is, there is nothing here that exists except energy. We are one ‘nothing’, within another totally different ‘nothing’. So as long as you are searching for a higher being, other than yourself to give you meaning, you will never find it. It is when you take the wisdom that comes from your mind and give this life meaning, that you have truly created something, and realize that you are “god”, that we are all the same one energy, and every one else, including your physical self, is part of the illusion as well. That is when you find meaning. So no, I don’t think religion is the way to go.

  6. Eric says:

Easy answer. All religions are wrong, because they are limited by the capacity, or incapacity, of man to understand.

  7. Harvey Wallbanger says:

There is an obscure sect of 4 ( no wait, there was a recent convert, make that 5) people, on a remote mountaintop in Tibet, who believe in intelligent design. Beyond that, they don’t have a clue. They are the only ones to come closest to the actual truth and could be deemed ” RIGHT “.

  8. Don in Missouri USA says:

We are all limited in intellect and experience. Therefore, we make our judgments within those limitations. Each religion is therefore not like the other, since it sees the universe through it’s own limited perspective, it’s own prism. Perhaps we will always have too few pieces of the entire puzzle to ever know the truth. Even the pieces of the puzzle we do have, may be misconstrued or too difficult for our limited minds to comprehend. The evidence is all around us, the work of this intelligent designer. We will always be occupied trying to determine what it tells us.

  9. Don J Voss says:

To my limited intellect, I would say the people who believe there is an intelligent designer behind all that surrounds us, and puts no other parameters on that belief, is the closest to the truth. After the belief in a higher intelligence overall, one should speculate and surmise, but not hold any particular belief.

  10. James says:

If you really want to know then ask God. I know what answer I received.

  11. Viewer says:

Are there any Muslims in this film; or is this a Judeo-Christian biased piece of work? I saw a Rabbi, a Christian wrestler, and a monk.. the premise of any bad joke.

  12. Daniel says:

    I got a no.

  13. Matthew Keevil says:

    They are all equal misunderstandings.

  14. Philip Beni says:

    We don’t know.
People can claim to know “Gods Will”. But, objectively, that “knowledge” is just speculation.

The double slit experiment shows that subatomic particles behave differently in the presence of an observer; perhaps all religions are right:

If the presence of an observer can influence the behaviour of nature itself, then perhaps we make of own Gods real through our belief in them.

But, this is what I believe and it is purely speculation.

  15. Forgiven says:

“Religions” are for the most part structured and manipulated by man; Christianity is birthed of God Himself. I don’t think of myself as religious but as a follower of Christ, the very Son of God, “For God gave His only Son that whosever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” -John 3:16
The ONLY religion offering forgiveness and the gift of salvation to all who receive is Christianity; therefore it is the one true religion.

  16. Forgiven says:

    Two things I notice:

No comments have been posted since 6/6…why is that?

No pro-Jesus, pro-Christian, or pro-God comments are posted. I posted one myself and it does not appear,

This film appears to be another secular humanist attempt to disprove Almighty God and His Creation,.

Anyone sincerely seeking answers as to the nature of our existence need only to read The Bible. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, our “users manual” for life, and THE TRUTH for all who seek it.

I have deep sorrow for all who fall for these lies and I pray God opens your eyes before it is too late.

“For God gave His only Son so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3?16

  17. Rigo says:

The film trailer shown in your web site disappointed me tremendously with those indecent individuals spewing vulgar language and obscenities. It really turned me off !
A satire of poor taste! I won’t waste my money and time in your film.

    my First impression was devastating

  18. free from religion says:

    Interesting what we grasp onto….
In a book written 1500 years ago by primitive hut dwellers…
(500 years and approximately 25 generations of verbal passed down myth-stories after Jesus may or may not have lived)
God tells man not to eat an apple, but a talking snake tells man to eat it, so.. man listens to the talking snake…. God is upset (a loving, forgiving god ??), so he immaculately inseminates a woman (if not by her choice–rape ??, if she was married to Joseph at the time—adultery ??) and she gives birth to him/his son so he can suffer and die for us (Jesus chooses to die for us–suicide ??) because we sinned when we listened to the talking snake and ate an apple.. what a strange story…
I contend that we are all atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than religious people do. When religious “believers” understand why they dismiss all possible gods and religions except for their one “true” god , they will understand why I dismiss theirs.
The day people lose the fear of the threat of burning in hell will be the first intellectually free day of their life. Christianity and its rules and threats and prejudices was created by hut-dwellers thousands of years ago in order to gain power over their fellow human beings. New religions continue to crop up constantly in much the same way Christianity originally did- look at the Mormons, Scientologists and other less-successful religions. Christianity actually is like many religions, resurrection, virgin birth, god lives in heaven, etc….
The basis of religion and believing in Jesus is fear…. fear of going to hell (another man made myth–hell)
fear of what happens to us when we die. fear of God punishing us… (many examples especially in the old testament)

all of the stories, myths, fairytales about Jesus, including Jesus is God, were written hundreds of years after his death by primitive hut dwellers….

look at the big picture, Jesus is just another God in a long line of man-made Gods… during Jesus time, mankind was moving from polytheism to monotheism…. there were many “messiahs” ( 7 or 8 major ones) during Jesus life… Constantine helped Christianity become the big religion by making it the official religion of Rome.

Again, think about how ridiculous and unbelievable all of the other gods and religions are to you, and you will see why the Jesus myth is just another imaginary… (another word for faith) belief system.

Two things are needed to become a religious person….
    1) exposure to religion… you are a Christian because you are surrounded by it, if you lived in a Hindu community you would gravitate toward.. I think you get my drift :)
    2) a personal need and weakness…. religious people are less responsible for their actions and consequences, they lean on religion to help them deal with life, and use it as an excuse for their actions (religion is imaginary, a delusion, therefore actually a type of psychosis)
The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud

  19. Brett M. says:

A statement is “right” when its assertion or description matches reality, but as a first cautionary principle of determining what is right we must remember that a statement about reality is NOT itself reality. This should be obvious but we tend to conflate the two.

Insofar as any religion may make an individual statement that is a correct description of reality, that statement may be right. Some religions make statements about human relationships, and these individual statements can be said to be generally right. Then again, the same could be said of Dr. Phil.

But as general descriptions of reality, such as the nature of cause-and-effect, the origin and eventual future of the universe, and the purpose and origin of life, all religions make claims that are at best wishful thinking, and at worst completely contradictory to observed evidence. This isn’t limited to the larger organized faiths. There is nothing claimed about reality by crystals, palm reading, spirit channeling, or the remaining believers in Norse mythology that can be regarded as “right.”

The only conclusion is that no religion is right, anymore than it is right that the moon is made of the finest Wisconsin cheddar. There’s no evidence for it, and plenty of evidence against.

  20. Carole says:

    For who?

  21. fredd says:

in the film . ” i have no doubts of god but i doubt the people representing it “

  22. Albert says:

Which religion is right? None! Only a soulcommunity can be right, which is connected directly to the Supreme Soul, God and capable to change continuously.

  23. Robert says:

    Mine! :)

  24. Maurilio says:

None. The existence of many religion is the evidence of this necessary mistake of mankind.

  25. Aaron says:

In the big picture, for all intents and purposes none of them are. That said, which one is right for any given individual is up to said individual, and no one else.

  26. SWEJ says:

    Mormonism… only kidding ;)

Duh, none of them are right.

  27. Jeff says:

The one that doesn’t impede intellectual development or insist that its adherents be scientifically illiterate.

  28. dark.mirror says:

Probably none of them are correct or have the truth. This is because we can see, in cross examination, the many contradictions, and sometimes silly argumentations people make and try to pass them as absolute truth and concrete knowledge, but many fail to pass very simple tests of logic or even common sense. I do believe there is a God, but an examination of those religions stating to represent them and their dogmas, laws, and other requirements have made doubt seriously about their hidden agendas. It looks more like a thirst for power and control because, how do you really control a society? Either through religion or military.

The one religion which produces an individual who lives in harmony with himself and his peers in his society, and does not seek to impose any believes unto others, who has integrity, ethics and contributes to the community he lives in a positive way, seems to me, to be closer to a good religion, albeit not necessarily the “true” one. Because if we seek a “true” religion, we have to first define true for what purpose? Serve God? Does he need to be served? All mighty and powerful and he needs us to abide by certain rules? Or he will punish us? Sounds little fishy to me, and a contradiction on what I see in nature, a much higher purpose unknown to me yet.

  29. Joshua says:

To defend my belief that there are no heathens in the world from a religiously intolerant Christian, for instance, I argue the following:
“If you had been born to devoutly Muslim parents, would you ever consider converting to Christianity?” Then I would explain that, no, most Muslims would regard even the thought of changing their religion to be an act of heresy, to the exact same extent that a majority of Christians deem it heretical to convert to Islam.
What I’m addressing here is that the religion you associate with, whether it is Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc., whatever you associate with, you do so as a coincidence that depends on only two factors: where you happen to be raised and the beliefs of the people that happen to raise you.
If there was a single religion that is wholly correct, it should be easy for all the followers of the incorrect faiths to find their way to the truth, as this religion would use very persuasive arguments to get people to convert, arguments that are more convincing to people than the lies their competition is spewing. But it is clear that each individual religion is just as acceptable as any other on the basis of faith alone, that is to say that it is equally challenging to evaluate the reasonableness of one religion as it is any other with belief but without proof. Therefore if the “right” religion exists in the world today, on no count may it be discerned from the “wrong” religions; and if God expects us to worship through this, the only true religion, He is extraordinarily arrogant. But I would reject the notion that God is an ignorant fool who punishes people because of where they were born and how they were raised, in favor a view of Him that represents the values of everyone and perhaps even adjust His image when different people are in His presence.
P.S.: In the part where I questioned the Christian about his opinion of being a Muslim, note that I could reverse their rolls or substitute any other religions in their place. Every religion has some members who are intolerant of others, sorry.

  30. fritz says:

    did you interview any Baha’is?

  31. roger says:

Yes, they appear in the Companion Series.

  32. Terry says:

It isn’t a question of what religion is the right religion. It is the higher level of awareness that all religions are wrong.

  33. wallpaper000 says:

Which religion is right? Which country is right? Which political party is right?

Aren’t they all essentially the same question? As for which is right, it all depends on who you are and what you believe, since that’s all we can do, that is to believe…We do not know nor will we ever know what’s really right whether you are a religious believer or scientific-minded. I believe that none of us can has earned the right to say that a religion is wrong because we don’t even know what’s right…….we know nothing, so don’t pretend to be any wiser because we are not…

  34. Terry says:

    @ wallpaper000

Soooooo, just because you know nothing means we all know nothing? Please, speak only for yourself. As a matter of fact I do know all religions are wrong/false. Man made nonsense. Remove all the man made gods and there are no gods or religions. Remove man and there are no life forms left to define any new gods.

  35. wallpaper000 says:

    @Terry

The more you talk the more you show that you have very little if any, knowledge of history of religions and theology. You seem to see religion = GOD, unfortunately contrary to what you think they are not the same…..I’ll sum up in one statement regarding this just so you know and do a little bit of reading before saying anything….NOT ALL RELIGIONS ARE THEISTIC…As for your statement that you “do know all religions….”, I very much doubt it…….

  36. Terry says:

    @ wallpaper000

I define religion as anything that invokes the supernatural. If it doesn’t invoke the supernatural it is not a religion. It is a philosophy or something else. If it does invoke the supernatural in any way it is a religion. So again “YES” all religions are false. And Yes again. God=Religion. It all comes down to the supernatural now doesn’t it? If you would like to discuss this further you can email me at:
    atheist (at) churchoflogic.com

Assuming you have any “real” knowledge of religions. I doubt it.

  37. Richard says:

Religion is inherently incorrect by it’s own admission. A faith that can be proved is not faith.

  38. Jim Palmer says:

The real question should be “is religion right”. The deeper question is “why does religion persist and what can we do to move beyond it?” Since there is absolutely NO proof of the existence of a supernatural deity, how do we rid ourselves of this (ultimately negative and damaging) delusion?
