This is probably the easiest question so far. Live and let live! Care about the other, not as much as you care about yourself or your family but enough to help them when they are most in need.

    The love of Gods

    Only Gods can possess,
    Only Gods can practice,
    Only Gods can enjoy,
    The love of Gods.

Just for the happiness of others,
    The delight of others,
    The joy of others,
    The blessing of others,
    Do Gods exist and live.

    The love of Gods,
    Is a holy love,
    A selfless love,
    A most noble love,
    Devoted only for
    The happiness of others,
    The delight of others,
    And the joy of others.

    Within this love,
There is no greed for self,
No selfishness or avarice for self,
It is a holy love that serves
Just for the happiness of others.

    Within this love,
There is no stinginess, regret, or anything,
    As it joyfully devotes all,
Just for the happiness of others.

Only those who have become Gods,
Can know this love of Gods.
Only those who have become Gods,
    Can practice this holy love.

If these Gods leave for heaven,
Traces of this love of Gods
    Would also disappear.

But these Gods who have ascended to heaven,
Will continue to practice this love,
Together with God and the angels,
    For eternity.

It is this love of Gods
That God is so pleased with,
That God is so delighted with,
    That He loves so much,
    And blesses so greatly.

    This love is
The everlasting life of God and man,
    It is eternal life.

    As the world, carnal pleasures,
    And all things pass away,
Only this holy love of Gods,
    Will grow even deeper,
    And remain forever.

    True Love

Beautiful love is loving the other,
    Before you are loved.
Beautiful love is continuously loving the other,
    Though you are rejected.
Beautiful love is loving the other,
    Though you are hated.
Beautiful love is loving the other,
    Though you are treated badly.

Beautiful love is not dominating the other,
    But rather being dominated.
Beautiful love is not holding the other,
    But rather gently letting go.
Beautiful love is not conquering the other,
    But rather being conquered.
Beautiful love is not demanding of the other,
    But rather giving.
Beautiful love is not hurting the other,
    But rather being hurt.
Beautiful love is not betraying the other,
    But rather being betrayed.

Beautiful love is blessing with tears,
    The one who forsakes you.
    Beautiful love is weeping alone,
Unable to forget the one who has forsaken you.
    Beautiful love is mourning alone,
Unable to forget the one who has forsaken you.
Beautiful love is forgiving all of yesterday’s wrongs,
The one who left you and then returned.
Beautiful love is to run out and welcome with delight,
The one who left you and then returned.

Beautiful love is not living for oneself,
But only for the sake of the other.
Beautiful love is giving all you have for the other,
    Even your life…

    This is beautiful love.

I would suggest that a person should choose a growth path. There are several established paths, which are not all are the same. The values, rules, and goals differ. Study them and see which one speak to you.

The intellect seeks new ideas using honesty, objectivity, and precision. The creative strive for beauty through practice and inspiration. The followers of conciousness want to wake up and be happy and so they join support groups of like minded individuals. Lovers dream of a loving relationship and open their hearts by caring for others.

A person should live each for a while to find out which one feels like home.

  43. JWE says:

Two simple rules to live by (not easily implemented or lived):
    1. Do no harm.
Difficult, if not impossible to live by. The very act of surviving means we need to consume plants and animals for food (vegetarians may be on a less harmful path if they don’t kill the plant they consume). Consumption of almost anything causes harm in some way, so maybe it is more achievable to try to live so that we minimize harm to all living things and our environment.
    2. Endeavor to do good things and be kind.
Again, difficult because it depends on our evaluation of what is good. Good should always be interpreted with rule #1 in mind – do no harm. Try to analyze your acts of goodness and kindness and make sure they do not have “unintended consequences” that cause harm.

    2) Endure the tension created by this absurd dance around reality.
    a) do not come unhinged and shoot up your workplace & your fellow workers.

3)Having eaten all your life don’t complain when you get a fork stuck in you.

  46. Richard says:

    A is A
Existence exists. Which means identity exists. Which means logic is valid and contradictions can’t exist. And everything flows from that. When all else fails look to reality.

Objectivism a philosophy derived from the objective facts of reality is the best philosophy for living, if you choose to.
